ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER
Job Description
Assembler - will assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes and some wire harnesses from prints. This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring and testing of control panels for industrial equipment. The assembler will fabricate controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel, wiring of all components, installation of control panel onto equipment, and testing to ensure proper operation.
Monday - thursday 6am - 4:30pm
" Route and bundle wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
" Provide dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures.
" Provide point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation
" Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
" Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication.
" Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Supervisor for revision prior to completion.
" Communicate effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers and the Project Manager
" Have the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
" Have a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
" Mark electrical labeling.
" Have knowledge of pneumatics.
" Have a valid Driver's License.
" Available to perform off-site Field Service work when needed.
" Perform all other duties assigned by supervisoand/or move up to 70 pounds.

Job Requirements
Must have 2+ years of experience to be considered
High School diploma or equivalent, technical school attendance a plus.
Ability to understand and work from schematics and knowledge of electrical theory and terminology.
Strong critical thinking skills to see and resolve potential roadblocks, takes initiative and resolves unexpected challenges, and consistently demonstrates a solution-oriented approach.
Must be able to write, speak, and understand English.
Sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
This position may require variations to schedules due to business needs. Manufacturing would follow our voluntary and mandatory overtime policy.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written materials.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other company software required for your position.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
