SUMMARY: This individual performs manual labor in the Formulated Department, adhering to the highest standards of quality and service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates formulated processing equipment, including but not limited to mixers, sieves and steam kettles.
Tests and records brix of all finished products.
Completes daily batch sheets.
Operates within all standard operating procedures.
Packages finished product into pails.
Operates forklifts.
Cleans and maintains work area.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to operate forklift and/or certified to operate forklift.
