$24.15- 27.60/hr


SUMMARY:
The Inspection Measurement and Repair (IMR) Technician is a direct labor position within the Production Team whose main responsibilities are to process parts within the IMR room according to written processes and known practices.


" Employee is responsible to inspect parts requiring IMR process according to OEM prints attached to traveler.
" Measuring part on areas requiring inspection according to its IMR sheet (updated Revision) and/or traveler instructions.
" Data entry into the SPC records. Identify / Notify Supervisor of any Non Conformances.
" Identify damage to parts, especially critical surfaces, etched, bent, worn, chipped, etc.
" Maintain Equipment and Tools.
" General housekeeping in work area.

Job Requirements

Technician I - High School education or GED, 6 months experience measuring parts and reading blue prints. Able to identify damage to parts, especially critical surfaces, excessive part ware, etching, etc.
Ability to use a micrometer, calipers, height gage, feeler gage, pin gage and other inspection equipment to assure the application of IMR.

Technician II - High School education or GED, 12 months experience in measuring parts and reading blue prints. Able to read and understand OEM prints on areas to that require critical measurements (IMR), texture, and TWAS application. Ability to use a profilometer, micrometer, calipers and height gage, feeler gage, pin gage and other inspection equipment to assure the application of IMR.

Technician III - High School education or GED. Requires 3 years experience in measuring parts and reading blue prints. Continuing education classes in quality control and or classes related to the field. Ably to read and understand OEM prints on areas that require critical measurements (IMR), texture and TWAS application. Able to identify damage to parts, especially critical surfaces, excessive part ware, etching, etc. Ability to use a profilometer, micrometer, calipers, height gage, feeler gage and pin gage to assure the application of IMR. Ability to manage the department to assure processes is being followed. Organize workflow to achieve on time delivery of jobs.
