JOB SUMMARY **THURSDAY-SUNDAY**7am - 4: 30pm but needs to be flexible.
This position is responsible for keeping the Production area clean; to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products. Ensures equipment and facility are effectively sanitized in accordance with established food manufacturing regulations and in compliance with government sanitation requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
It is essential for all employees to adhere to Company policies.

Ability to be at the physical location of the job at the designated shift assigned.
Maintain schedule of daily/weekly sanitization and cleaning
Perform and complete designated cleans per standard operating procedures.
Facilitates the use of approved cleaning agents per established procedures.
Maintain, sanitize and clean work spaces used by employees
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
Maintains cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor
Moves and/or stacks bins/bucket of material.
Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a GMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to
perform essential functions of the job. Must re-qualify every year on all job-related tests and certifications as job or qualifications require.
Maintain PPE throughout the plant during the course of the business day.
Checks and corrects any conditions which are not conducive to a safe, clean work place. Report any safety problems immediately.
Evaluates the organization's procedures, facilities and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions
Ensures the organization complies with all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures
Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events
May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, resource conservation, or other safety related activities depending on the industry and location
Will lead the company Safety Committee for monthly meetings and Quarterly walk throughs

EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree preferred
6 months experience of similar work
Detail oriented.
Hand truck, electric forklift, Zamboni experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
Must be able to pass a background requirement.
Must be able to pass a drug screen

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing/Walking: Continually & fast paced - Most assignments and work functions are performed while standing.
Sitting: Occasionally - Few assignments can be completed while either sitting or standing and only applies to certain work areas and/or work functions.
Crouching (bending at knees): Continually - Crouching is necessary when cleaning and or set up of equipment.
Reaching: Continually - All positions require continual handling of parts and various materials. Reaching is primarily performed between waist and shoulder level and occasionally when crouching or kneeling. Often overhead reaching is required.
Stooping (bend at waist): Often - May bend at waist while setting up work activities, laundry etc.
F. Kneeling: Occasionally - Kneels to retrieve materials from the floor, and clean in awkward areas.
Handling: Continually - Handles cleaning tools, materials and set up and break down of equipment
Fingering/Feeling/Grasping: Continually - Required for all tasks.
Lifting/Carrying: Frequently - All tasks require lifting and carrying boxes or bins of materials/parts up to 30 feet. A typical weight range is 10-30 (10-40) pounds. Stacks of boxes and bins may weigh as much as 50 pounds. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Climbing: Often, stairs to get to mezzanine and ladder access high areas.
Seeing: have 20/20 vision or 20/30 corrected vision.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL HAZARDS
Works in production environment with regular exposure to noise and cleaning agents including bleach
Works in a production environment with a controlled temperature of -10-100 degrees
Must adhere to Company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment.
