Job Description

$19-25 DOE, including a $2, 500 sign on BONUS.

1st: M-F 4am - 1:30pm, 2nd: M-Th. 2pm-1:30am

Welding I (Gilbert, AZ)

What you will do
He/she will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of core welding to vendors and managers in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations. You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with Company policies in a manufacturing facility.

How you will do it
" Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
" Operate Miller Aluma Pro Mig gun
" Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as GMAW, Plasma Cutter.
" Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
" Maintain safe work practices.
" Conduct Technical Inspections.
" Prepare input for various management and log reports.
" Review blueprints and specifications; ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in environment intended for use.
" Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects.
" Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
" Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
" Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques.
" Other assigned work as required

" The use of various hand tools, machinery and equipment will be required to manufacture metal
" Standard blueprint knowledge
" This position will work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in work cells, hitting quotas, welding according to pre-set parameters using GMAW welding processes.
" The ability to scan in and out of work orders is a must.
" The Welder will be required to have strong knowledge and skill in operating all metalworking machinery.
" Additionally, the Welder will be required to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions.

Preferred
" High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
" (2) years experience as a Welder.
" Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.
" Ability to work independently in busy environment.
" Experience with routine maintenance operations.
" Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in diverse working environments.
" Able to work well under pressure.
" Strong attention to detail.
" Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
" Computer literate.
