The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and staff support to the office operations. This position provides organizational support and is responsible for a variety of other tasks.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
h Greet and direct office visitors, answer main office telephone system, respond to direct requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff. Make sure the office is kept in orderly and clean fashion
h Record and Document non-employee visitors and guests to the facility.
h Provide translation (written & oral) to support business functions.
h Issue, receive and file applications
h Maintain Office Files & Spreadsheets
h Write Memos, Letters and documents as necessary
h Data Entry
h Clerical Support to Office Managers
h Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Office Managers

h Must have some experience and skilled in the use of programs such as MS Word and Excel
h Minimum one year office administrative support experience is preferred.
h Some college preferred.
h Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure.
h Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills both oral and written.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
h High School diploma required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. FOOD SAFETY & FOOD SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES:
All persons within the company have responsibilities to ensure that threats to the safety and security of our final product are minimized. Responsibilities for this position include;
h Compliance with GH Foods Good Manufacturing Practices [GMPs]
h Reporting any unauthorized persons in or about the facility as well as incidents of employee tampering to management.
h Understanding basic concepts of food borne illness.
h Comply with all food labeling requirements as determined by specific job within company.
h Verify and record identity of all visitors into the facility.
