ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
" Follows assembly procedures and specifications
" Works at different work stations as production needs require; this may involve one or more of the following assembly activities:
o Drills, taps, or reams holes
o Aligns components, and bolts, screws, clips, rivets or otherwise fastens parts together
o Cleans, files, sands, or shapes machined parts
" Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
" Provides hands-on job function training to co-workers as needed
" Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
" Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials
" Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
" Must understand and comply with Safety, 5S, ISO, and other corporate programs, initiatives and procedures.
" Dependable and consistent attendance is critical for team performance and productivity.
" Having a positive team-player attitude with the ability to lead as a positive role model.
" Performs data collection and input for production metrics including safety, quality, and delivery
" Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
" High school or GED or equivalent and one year experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
" Blueprint reading - ordinate and GD&T preferred
" Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material (BOM's) required
" Knowledge of basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to accurate count as well as add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Basic operation skills are required to enable the ability to navigate file folders, use the company intranet, etc.
