Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Assembly Supervisor to join our team. The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day tasks of the Assembly Leads (up to 4 leads and their teams). This includes various assembly, data entry, and product inspection to ensure we are meeting the quality standards in the short deadlines for more than one client at a time. Assembly Supervisors are required to support and enforce company policies and procedures, to improve our accuracy and efficacy. It is very important that this individual possess the ability to positively motivate and supervise the assembly team lead as well as all general workers. They are main contributors to the development of training programs within the warehouse. A good fit for this position will be: someone with a strong leadership presence, contains problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail, and able think ahead of the work flow to hit the ground running. This is a warehouse job and any candidate should be prepared to work in the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter and should dress accordingly.

Job Duties
" Plans and delegates multiple projects daily within the warehouse to the leads and general workers
" Reach Client Deadlines by communicating job needs, timelines and expectations
" Oversees work orders, material usage and product handling to ensure the most effective and efficient work flow from start to finish
" Obtain missing work order information as well as provide status updates verbally and through email
" Motivating, Training, and Assisting Assembly Leads
" Works with the project Manager and Assembly Leads to create new product prototype packaging
" Evaluates and coach (counsel and discipline) performance and attendance of all contract workers, and leads
" Maintain a safe, organized work environment by training and directing workers and leads on all processes needed.
" Accountable for enforcing all Standards and Safety Procedures
" Monitor work load to adequately assist when more workers are needed to meet all deadlines
" Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations including but not limited to efficiency, safety, process improvement, and quality of work.
" Coordinating and Supervising Pack - Outs

Qualifications
" 3 years in a Direct Supervisory role
" Moderate computer knowledge in Microsoft Office/ Outlook
" Ability to handle high pressure situations
" Ability to do simple math accurately and efficiently
" Experience in a warehouse environment
" Experience working with multiple types of products (Wood, Metal, Plastic ECT.)
" Strong communication skills both written and verbal
" Excellent Time Management skills and the ability to multi task
" Keen Eye for detail
" Experience using hand and Power tools
" Building/ Assembling experience (Personal or Professional) preferred
" Able to team lift 70+ pounds
" Able to advise on Labor needs according to work load
" Experience calculating packaging dims preferred
