BRAIDER MACHINE OPERATOR
PORTLAND - NE, OR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary responsibility will be to thermally bond thermoplastic hydraulic hose and make assemblies. This requires the ability to run a PLC controlled machine, assemble and package product for shipment.
Have a high level of Mechanical aptitude.
Performs and records quality checks as required.
Operates a forklift to obtain and/or store production related materials.
Maintains a clean work area, works in a safe manner, and performs other tasks as directed by production management.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, tape measure, and vernier calipers.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, any and all situations that could arise. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
