The Back Office CA is a fully licensed Chiropractic Assistant qualified to assist in the treatment of patients. This position will have primary responsibilities of maintaining patient treatment flow and providing services to the patients as directed by the treating doctor. Among these tasks include physiotherapy application, soft tissue massage and therapeutic stretching/exercises, radiograph setup, and maintenance of rooms and equipment. They spend more time with the patient than any other team member, so they will have perhaps the most impact on the success of treatment. This CA must have knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and chiropractic philosophy and principles. They must be skilled in massage therapy, counseling, education, and communication. They must have the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented. Above all, they must be enthusiastic, compassionate and encouraging to patient needs, and a team player, willing to help in any way they can to make the office run smooth and help others succeed. All necessary training will be provided and supervised by the doctors and staff to ensure maximal opportunity to meet expectations.

" High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
" Must Obtain and maintain Oregon Chiropractic Assistant License

As a professional healthcare office, HIPAA guidelines and other legal issues govern, and you will be responsible for following these rules strictly. However, much of patient care involves guidelines, working as a team member and being flexible to variable demands. Therefore, you must be able to ascertain whether there is flexibility or not and USE YOUR BEST GOOD JUDGEMENT IN ALL MATTERS.
