CLEAN ROOM TECH

Understand and follow gowning / operating / part handling procedures and protocols as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within the team.
Clean Room Operator:
Perform analytical tasks, inspections, light assembly and packaging (vacuum sealing) parts according to process and traveler instructions. The work is performed in a clean room environment where the technician will be required to wear clean room suit. Employee is responsible to process customer supplied parts within the department according to known processes as specified by work order traveler.
Must be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle. Will sand-blast machine parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to texturize to specific specifications. Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s) Ability to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging. Possess knowledge of how parts should appear after blasting.
Chem Room Operator:
Responsible to process customer supplied parts within the chemical department by dipping metal machine parts into acid and caustic tanks to strip, clean and finish the parts according to known processes as specified by work order traveler.
Function well as a supportive and productive member of the team.
Any other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Qualifications / Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality. This includes following all rules and regulations, including safety, attendance, breaks etc. Established by management.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned area.
Ability to read, write and comprehend internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, logs and general company records.
Basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills in order to process inventory, counting, time allocation, and work hours.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Willing and able to work non-production hours as necessary.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to function well in an office environment.
Must be able to perform in noisy, moist or wet environments with standard protection devices.
Must be able to work in a controlled chemical environment.
Must pass company required screening tests.
Must be able to pass respirator health and fit testing.
Must be in reasonably fit condition.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach with hands and arms and perform light lifting duties (up to 75 pounds) without assistance.
