Operates CNC machining centers to fabricate Aluminum parts by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Set-up machining centers.
Other duties may be expressed and/or assigned.
Places part(s) in fixture set in machine, and begins cycle start process.
Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls if qualified, or requests assistance of lead person or plant supervision.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly. Document as required.
Rinses and blows parts free of coolant and chips, and packages per work instructions or requirements from supervisors.
Confers with supervisors to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Performs basic machine maintenance, such as coolant changes, and filling way oil containers.
Cleans work area on a daily basis.
