Job Title: CNC Programmer
Summary: Responsible for the set up and programming of various types of CNC machines and adjustments and operation of standard and special types of machine tools to perform diversified machining operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
" Capable of programming a 3 axis CNC machine without any additional training. Design and build fixtures to support production requirements with strong focus on manufacturing cost and quality.
" Prepare setup instructions that list tools, tool positions, feeds, speeds, jaws and fixtures required to run machines in assigned workstation and train production personnel.
" Perform First Article inspections when needed
" Provide technical assistance to production for the solution of daily problems
" Support and work with Sales personnel in evaluation of future projects
" Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
" Must have minimum of 5 years' experience programming with Master CAM and working with vertical CNC machines. Experience with horizontal CNC is a plus (prefer HAAS, MORI or TOYODA).
" Must have knowledge of New Product Introduction processes and understanding of Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) reports
" Must understand and apply GD&T tolerancing system to fabrication processes
" Knowledge and experience using "G" and "M" codes for programing is required
" Good verbal and written communications skills
" Must be flexible with working hours and able to work in fast-paced environment
" Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment
" Understands that performing job tasks in a safe manner is the highest priority
" Has read and understands department JSA's
" Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines and wears appropriate PPE when required
" Fills out "near miss" paperwork on any unsafe condition or action and reports any unsafe condition or act immediately to supervisor or HSE department
" Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in his or her respective areas of work or areas as directed by the department supervisor
" Cooperates and contributes to the creation of a safe, secure and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the company's environmental obligations and goals
Special skills required to perform job (machines, tools, equipment):
" Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing preferred
Education required: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education is acceptable. Associates degree from a technical school preferred.

Compensation: $28 - $30 DOE
