CUSTOMER SERVICE LIASON

" Administrates delivery information to be shared with internal departments within the organization and customers.
" Responds to customer demands using from a variety of means to include EDI, telephone, e-mail, websites, etc.
" Answers all Customer related inquiries regarding shipment of product or questions associated to Customer and Customer Parts products.
" Works directly with the production scheduling team to prioritize customer requirements on current and subsequent production schedules based on the latest needs.
" Ensures rapid responses to Internal Customer Service Department on all customer related issues.
" Works directly with shipping department to answer and resolve demands to our shipping schedules.
" Assists with resolving issues to expedite work orders into Production.
" Works with customer service planners to ensure shipping instructions are followed.
" Understands and communicates information, including working knowledge of company products, services and policies and procedures.
" Serves as liaison between customers, planners, sales personnel and operations and communicates customer feedback, issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members including Sales Manager.
" Some travel to manufacturing and distribution sites may be required (< 5%).
" Associates degree; and two years of related experience in a Supplier-to-Business environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
" Recent experience in customer service/planning/logistics in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
" SAP or similar ERP experience is preferred.
" Solid Proficiency with Microsoft Programs Word, Excel, Outlook
" Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
" Highly dependable with a strong professional demeanor.
" Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
" Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong interpersonal skills.
" Ability to maintain a positive Customer Service experience at all times, in all situations.

" Continuous talking, hearing, and frequent sitting in front of a computer and on the telephone as well as ability to track production orders in the manufacturing environment is a requirement.
" Often required to sit and use hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard for entire shift.
" This position also requires occasional standing, walking, and reaching with arms and hands.
" Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
" Ability to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, as well as weekends, as necessary to meet business needs.
