A growing manufacturing company is seeking an enthusiastic experienced Full Cycle Accountant to join their accounting department. The job will initially be located in NE Portland and then move to Clackamas. Competitive compensation is offered and includes health insurance and 401k plan.
Full Cycle Accountant
The duties include but are not limited to:
Daily AP processing
" Voucher invoices
" Process of invoices for payment
" Vendor account management related to payables (vendor master file updates, creation of new vendors etc.)
" Solve problem, research missing information to facilitate payment and issue resolution with internal and external parties
" Prepare and send out vendors' 1099's

Daily AR processing
" Invoice sales
" Process customer payments and depositing funds
" Customer account management (master file updates, creation of new customers etc)
" Solve problem, research missing information to facilitate collections and issue resolution with customers

Cashflow tracking
" Perform bank reconciliations weekly
" Maintain cashflow tracking/forecasting spreadsheets
" Monitor purchases and resale of purchased items

General accounting
" Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts receivable and payable
" Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end processes, reports, etc
" Perform month end closing
" Participate in quarterly physical inventories
" Reconcile balance sheet accounts
" Maintaining appropriate AP/AR/GL records
" Responsible for capital projects/fixed asset accounting
" Responsible for personal property taxes
Required Qualifications:
" At least an Associates degree in Accounting
" At least 5 years of related work experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
" Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
" Must be detail oriented (Ability to process invoices with 95-97% accuracy) and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
" Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and accounting software
" Must be well organized, service oriented and a team player.
" Must be able to prioritize tasks to meet team deadlines and metrics
" Must be able to work well under pressure
