Essential Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform

Prepare job postings internally and externally for assigned locations as well as posting
positions on state job sites and recruiting sites.
Assist with training the hiring managers the hiring process.
Track hiring process from start to finish for assigned locations.
Assist with the management of the applicant tracking database; review applications and
prepare interview documents.
Respond to inquiries regarding the online application system.
Answer HR phones.
Maintain and keep current the drug test locations database.
Ensure all new hires have their employee picture on Plattnet.
Assist the Director of Education with training and development functions including classroom
instruction; setting up for BASE/ PMT/ and PACE classes.
Online Database Administration.
Process invoices such as DOT invoices, hotel, taxi, Clackamas Community College, and
BlueVolt.
Help to ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Regular attendance is required.


Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required. A degree in business or HR is preferred but not required. Previous experience in an HR environment is preferred.
Two years of administrative, clerical or record-keeping support experience is required.
The individual must be able to function independently in a busy environment, manage multiple tasks and must be able to work within deadlines.
Must be a team player and must be able to work in a team environment; be self-motivated, dependable and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
This position requires experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Database management experience is required.
Data entry experience is required.
Knowledge of employment law; benefits, compensation, safety, security, worker s compensation, payroll, and training and development is preferred.

Language Ability:
This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents; respond to common inquiries from employees and the general public. Professional written and verbal communication skills must be present; as well as the ability to effectively and professionally present information to top management.

Math Ability:
This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; as well as the ability to perform all mathematical calculations typical and customary in a HR and business context.

Reasoning Ability:
This position requires the ability to apply sound business, financial, legal, and ethical judgment to ensure business objectives are met; as well as the ability to solve problems involving several complex variables in both typical and uncommon situations.
