SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that products, materials and services provided meet the requirements established by customers, procedures and specifications. The Material Testing Technician has the authority to identify any work or actions that violates the established quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Attendance. Being on time and working each scheduled shift is a critical component of this
position.
Follow all processes and procedures to promote a Quality Always mindset and culture while
supporting & maintaining continual alignment of company objectives.
Assist in the development of quality department associates through proactive training, as
needed, as required.
Recommend and/or provide any training to individuals whose work affects the performance of
the quality system in the requirements of the company.
May have involvement in the reviewing of customer purchase orders, including changes, to
determine and establish quality requirements and ensure inputs to and outputs of internal
planning.
Interface with other department employees and managers to provide assistance, resolve issues
and monitor work that affects the quality system, processes, procedures and supporting
functions.
Assist in any quality position and/or supporting function (order entry, quality lab testing, review
etc.) to ensure continual flow of processing, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS include the following:
Must be detail oriented, possess the ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects concurrently
and meet deadlines.
Report for work on-time, maintain a positive attitude and provide leadership & guidance.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required for interacting with customers,
other managers and employees at all levels, both internally and externally.
Ability to read and interpret such documents as specifications, standards, purchase orders,
blueprints, quotations etc.
Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Use and understanding of grinders, polishers, micrometers, calipers, gauges and scopes is
required.
Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
