Job Description

An Assembly/Production Planner for is responsible for setting up capacity within the ERP system and preparing daily production plan for the assembly and packaging work zones. They must have great analytical, planning, organizational and communicational skills. They work in a collaborative role with the Assembly Manager, DC Manager, Project Managers, and DC Leadership teams. Assembly/Production Planner must be highly organized planners, excellent communicators, and team players.

Assembly/Production Planner Key Responsibilities

" Maintain a pleasant working atmosphere in sync with our company values as well as a safe and clean workspace.
" Prepare capacity plan for upcoming month for DC leadership based on forecast from Business Teams and the ERP system
" Prepare daily production plan for actual assembly capacity separated by work zones
" Daily adjustment of Production Plan based on Actual scenarios
" Plan express requests from business teams
" Communication with business teams and DC teams regarding production plan actualization, delays in production, and quality issues
" Prepare reports for DC Leadership
" Continuously make improvements to our process and DC operations
" Monitor incoming PO for material availability
" Ensure that all production is planned on time to minimize risks of late deliveries


Qualifications

Job Requirements

" Technical or Economical degree is preferred
" Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning
" Advanced level of MS Office knowledge is a must
" Strong analytical and communication skills
" Experience with ERP Software is a plus
