**Must be able to to lift 35-50 lbs.
1. Oversee the Quality Control and food safety activities in the processing facility for a particular shift. Supports and maintains standards of quality and food safety.
a. Ensure that all testing programs are consistent and procedures are followed.
b. Communicate with Operations with Critical Control Points (CCP) are out of control.
c. Ensure that all paperwork (documentation) is complete and accurate for each shift and each day.
d. Communicate all deficiencies and issues to QA Manager or Supervisor
e. Conduct quality control inspections on a regular basis or random basis as my be required by the operations.
f. Supervise quality control inspection requirements at the facility. Ensure that quality standards are maintained at all times.
g. Paricipate in monthly planed inspections.
h. Follow all plant safety programs.
3. Minimum Skills Required
a. High School Diploma or equivalent.
b. High level of attention to detail.
c. Excellent communication skills
d. Experience reading and recording from measurement devices.
e. Excellent communication skills, Oral and Written
f. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
g. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly.
4. Preferred but not Essential:
a. Training in food safety/HACCP
b. 2 year College Degree or equivalent experience.
c. Bi-lingual: English and Spanish
