" Properly store and stage in a timely manner ingredients for all departments according to company processes and formula specifications
" Ensure proper ingredient labeling procedures are being followed
" Proactively work to prevent loss by unnecessary aging of materials utilizing FIFO and proper warehouse storage tactics; assist Warehouse Receiver with moving pallets to make room for incoming ingredients
" Work with Distribution & Receiving Departments in helping maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility by performing daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts
" Report all inventory transaction errors and returns to stock to the Production Planning Mgr.
" Prioritize and promptly respond to count requests from any department
" Acts as a substitute to the finisher and compounding department as necessary
" Maintain clean, safe and sanitary work areas, including all dry ingredient areas, the cold and hot rooms, and the Cooler and all refrigerators that contain ingredients.
Good organization and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to operate a forklift. Must be able to communicate fluently in English, perform basic math skills, understand measurements and weights, and operate ERP, Excel & Word.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50 lbs. Without assistance. Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often. Typical warehouse/production environment, including exposure to odors, noise, chemicals and fluctuating temperatures.
This position requires someone that can lift up to 50 lbs, assisting a couple departments with material from inventory in the warehouse. Involves mixing, batching and need to know basic math. Will not be operating any forklifts just a manuel pallet jack. Must be comfortable with strong scents due the materials used to make their solutions/product.
