Job Description

Seeking a highly experienced and independent Credit & Collections Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our credit and collections processes. This role requires a strong analytical mind, a deep understanding of credit risk assessment, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Pay: $25-28/hr
Shift: M-F

Duties/Responsibilities:
" Credit Analysis and Decision-Making:
o Independently analyze commercial credit applications, leveraging extensive experience to assess risk and make well-informed recommendations for approval or denial.
o Build and implement a comprehensive credit analysis process to ensure consistent and thorough evaluation of all applications.
o Establish clear guidelines for approving applications under a designated dollar amount, as determined by the company.
" Credit and Collections Management:
o Authorize and process credit adjustments up to a set dollar amount.
o Review and approve adjustments submitted by colleagues up to a designated limit.
o Make informed recommendations for adjustments exceeding personal approval authority.
" Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Develop and implement key metrics and analytics to effectively track and report on credit and collections performance.
o Utilize data insights to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
" Process Improvement:
o Proactively recommend and implement changes to internal credit and collections processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
" Documentation:
o Clearly document all credit and collections practices to ensure consistency, knowledge transfer, and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

" Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
" Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis with a proven track record of success.
" Demonstrated ability to independently analyze financial statements, assess risk, and make sound credit decisions.
" In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies and best practices.
" Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.G., Excel).
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
" Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise strong judgment.
" Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
