Job Description

The Customer Service Representative's Basic function: interface with customers to ensure accurate order and delivery information is communicated. Customer service includes contract review and customer order entry.
" Responsible for all sales order activity.
" Serves as central point of contact for customers inquiries. Provide customer with updated order and delivery status.
" Manages the proposal quoting process while maintaining the process proposal tracking system, PTS, and master proposal. Qualifies with inputs new RFQ's.
" Issues weekly sales orders, backlog and quoting metric reports.
" Manages the contract review and PO acceptance process. Controls and maintains master contract/purchase order files.
" Performs all EDI transaction conversion to symix. Tracks changes and delivery dates, prices in handle terminations.
" Maintains customer and vendor maintenance in symix.
" Manage orders back to backlog to maintain accuracy.
" Responsible for disseminating terms and conditions, special shipping instructions, configure changes in quality requirements throughout the organization.
" Generates return material, authorizations RMA and managers associated issues.
" Assist accounting with invoicing and collection issues.
" Schedules and conducts bi-annual first and third quarter customer service satisfaction meeting, compiles results and forwards to quality management rep for input into Management Review Meeting.
Reports to Customer Service Manager/General Manager/ Department Sales, Division.

Job Requirements

" Ability to build effective synergistic relationship with customers and suppliers.
" Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, flexible positive attitude, ability to adapt and promote rapid change to market conditions.
" Number three and associates or bachelor's degree with minimum of three years related industry work experience. Degree can be substituted for five years related experience. Number four strong verbal and written communication skills. Number five strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS office.
