DEPARTMENT: Drafting
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. (OT as project timelines determine.)
Seeking a qualified CAD drafter to produce shop fabrication drawings for Portland
area custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework and ornamental metal utilizing AutoCAD or SolidWorks software programs.
Qualifications:
-Proficient in use of AutoCAD or Solid Works. (If experience is with Solid Works primarily, also prefer having AutoCAD proficiencies.)
-Work from architectural and ID prints to generate accurate shop fabrication drawings.
-Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies.
-Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing.
-Ability to work off of Architectural and ID prints or renderings to envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings.
-Work effectively in a fast paced high production environment.
-Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as communicate with team effectively.
-Proficient with Microsoft office.
Other skills/experience desired but not essential:
Cabinetmaking shop experience helpful
