DRAFTING PROGRAMMER
Job Description
$22.00-$27 Depending on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a qualified CAD drafter/ CAM programmer to produce shop fabrication
drawings for Portland area custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework and ornamental metal utilizing AutoCAD and Mastercam software programs.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with AutoCAD software.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with Mastercam software writing code for CNC machinery.
Ability to work from Architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to
envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings.
Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies.
Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing.
Work effectively in a fast-paced high production environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as communicate with team effectively.
Proficient with Microsoft office.
Other skills/experience desired but not essential:
Cabinet making shop experience helpful
