DRAFTING PROGRAMMER
Job Description
JOB TITLE: Drafting/Programmer
SALARY: Hourly at $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. (OT as project timelines determine.)
Seeking a qualified CAD drafter/ CAM programmer to produce shop fabrication
drawings for Portland area custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural
casework and ornamental metal utilizing AutoCAD and Mastercam software
programs.
Qualifications:
? Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with AutoCAD software.
? Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with Mastercam software
writing code for CNC machinery.
? Ability to work from Architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to
envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings.
? Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies.
? Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing.
? Work effectively in a fast-paced high production environment.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well
as communicate with team effectively.
? Proficient with Microsoft office.
Other skills/experience desired but not essential:
? Cabinet making shop experience helpful.
