GENERAL SHOP/POWDER COATER
Job Description
Looking for someone with previous powder coating experience or has been a general shop employee that has some knowledge of power coating.
Summary: Responsible for the surface finishing techniques. Responsible for preparation of handling and powder coating products to company standards with high levels of quality and excellence.
Pay: $20-23/hr DOE
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
" Responsible for using electrostatic spray gun inside powder booth for proper coverage of material.
" Operates the ovens with appropriate temperatures and times for curing according to TDS.
" Finishes products using the appropriate powder coating techniques.
" Conducts measures of quality control regarding the preparation stage, pre-treatment, and handling.
" Reviews work orders to ensure correct powder colors, consistencies and proper masking cues are applied.
" Reviews products to guarantee good measures of quality control after products are coated.
" Helps maintain shop cleanliness and has good standards of health & safety, in addition to positive compliance with OSHA.*
" Responsible for cleaning and maintaining booths, powder guns, and ovens.
" Coordinates with production coordinator for correct stock of powder colors and supplies.

" Ability to do basic math, add, subtract, ect.
" Basic computer skills
" High school diploma, GED or 1-2 years of related experience
" Abilit to regularly lift, move, push and/or pull up to 75lbs

o Powder coat sprayer
o Powder coating ovens and booths
o Various hand, air, and power tools
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
o Blueprint reading skills
