Job Description
20-$22 per hour.
Clean Driving record required to operate company vehicles.
90-day probationary position
We will train a qualified candidate to install and service flagpoles, car dealer lot decorations, custom flags & banners, and the like.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including paid vacation and holidays, Simple IRA (like a 401K but for a small company) with company match, generous employee discount on merchandise, and company sponsored health plan w/ major medical, dental, and vision.
Most work is done outdoors, in all weather conditions, in Portland metro and surrounding areas. You must have the ability to work safely and self-supervised, sometimes alone and sometimes with another installer, following detailed instructions.
The ideal candidate will:
" Have experience using assorted hand tools
" Be able to work on ladders and mechanical lifts with no fear of heights
" Have consistent attendance and punctuality, a strong safety record, and the desire to do quality work
" Be capable of doing some heavy lifting

Responsibilities and Duties:
Install, repair, and service flagpoles and flagpole hardware
Install and maintain car dealer lot decorations
Inspect existing flagpoles and flagpole hardware
Shipping & Receiving when not working outside
Occasional general shop maintenance and tool upkeep
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have experience with hand and power tools
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Be able to work safely at heights (on ladders and in man-baskets)
Be drug-free at all times (General contractors require it)
Drive company's vehicle safely and courteously every time
Think on your feet and have good judgment in the field
Work safely with a commitment to quality, alone or as part of a team
