MAINTENANCE MECHANIC MANAGER
Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with leadership skills and atleast 5+ years experience in high volume production output, ability to adapt to line changes in production, keep machines running and have a positiive attitude with team members. Lead by example.
Responsibilities
Experience in production maintenance / millwright
Performs maintenance, installation, and repair of the plant machinery as required
Experience in implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of machinery
Ability to implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency
Maintains and repairs building equipment as needed
Performs maintenance of the company facility as requested
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems commonly used in food manufacturing machinery
Develop department KPIs and communicate these benchmarks to management
Responsible for understanding and complying with the company's safety procedures and safe work practices
Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace
Maintains good communication with supervisors, office staff members, co-workers, and outside vendors
Willingness to share knowledge and mentor maintenance technicians
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during non-standard hours or weekends to address urgent maintenance needs
