MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Schedule: Full-time, 8am-4:30PM Monday-Friday. Some overtime may occur. Some weekend work.
Pay: $23-$25/hr
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the facility's production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of systems to prevent downtime and loss.
- Execute tasks involving carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs to uphold safety and functionality.
- Engage in regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required; diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
- Follow safety rules and regulations in all work areas, including fixing potential safety hazards to ensure the safety of all staff members.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Manage the stocking and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment as needed.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required; AA degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills including some PLC experience and HVAC.
- Proficient in using tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting items over 75 pounds, climbing, kneeling, and stooping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and independent, able to manage multiple maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
