Job Description
Very proficient in use of AutoCAD
-Ability to read/understand blueprints
-Thorough knowledge of architectural woodworking
-Proficient with Microsoft office suite
-Ability to work in fast paced environment production
Other skills/experience desired but not essential
-Familiarity with Mastercam or Wood Wap software
-Cabinet shop experience
Job Summary
" Coordinates and directs commercial casework/millwork projects from inception to final product or installation.
General Accountabilities
" Prepares and submits all documentation needed by the customer to begin the project (Includes but not limited to AutoCAD shop drawings, Contract documents, Insurance documents, Safety plans).
" Hires and organizes subcontractors and coordinates schedules.
" Prepares material take-offs.
" Orders materials and supplies.
" Tracks and monitors material receipts.
" Prepares and releases internal cut lists, optimized cutting plans, and shop drawings.
" Ensures that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary.
" Monitors the progress of work performed by project staff.
" Serves as a key resource for project information and resolves problems or questions referred by internal and external sources.
" Conducts final quality reviews and reports for the project.
" *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications
" 3-5 years of project management experience related to commercial casework and/or millwork
" Must be familiar with casework construction methods and techniques
" AutoCAD proficient
