QA specialist 3
Shift - graveyard starting at 9pm, 3x12 either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday
Pay - $16.75 - $18

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under low supervision, performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support various levels of quality management and its compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Will champion QA initiatives and provide support on the QMS and implementation. Maybe cross trained in several key QA roles.
Required:

High School Diploma or GED
6+ years of related experience required as a QA Specialist or Inspector 2-3
Must be able to serve as a mentor, trainer or lead to other team members
Minimum of (4) years of experience in manufacturing environment is required.
Pass Drug and pre-employment background check
Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
Basic Excel skills
Basic SAP skills
Intermediate PowerPoint skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for retrieving, storing, and updating QA and quality control documentation. May develop computer usage procedures to support quality system requirements. Prepares and distributes document copies to appropriate personnel.
2. Audits documentation to ensure program compliance with government contract requirements and federal/state/local regulatory agency requirements.
3. Maintains logs and records of product quality status. Verifies history files, master drawings, and master specifications for accuracy. Audits clerical processes to determine validity, effectiveness, and efficiency.
4. Performs QA review and approval of sales orders to verify all required information is accurate.
5. Assists in developing inspection and sampling plans, including sample sizes and characteristics to be verified.
6. Works with engineers and management to disposition rejected product and problematic paperwork.
7. Verifies that outgoing product paperwork (labels, certifications) is accurate.
8. Verifies and maintains product status. Generates status and management reports. May train others on each step of this process. May develop training materials.
9. Participates in Quality Improvement meetings both internally and externally. Will often present in audits, MRM, or Quality meetings.
10. Trains other personnel outside of QA practices and procedures.
