SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Description
SUMMARY: Repairs and overhauls used All Terrain Vehicles products and other company vehicles and prepare new vehicles for delivery by performing the following duties.
Examines vehicle and discusses with customer or supervisor the nature and extent of damage or malfunction. Plans work procedure.
Prepares new vehicles for resale by testing such things as fluid levels, battery functions, heater, hydraulics, electronics, etc. According to an extensive check sheet.
Troubleshoot vehicle systems such as electronic, hydraulic, suspension, etc.
Remove and repair or replace such items as engines, gearboxes, pumps, motors, etc.
Attend trade shows as required to help demonstrate products
Train customers in repairing, servicing or operating their new or used vehicles
Fills out required paperwork as it pertains to sales, preparation and repair jobs
Assists in inventory maintenance of shop supplies
Maintains a clean, safe and efficient working environment
Observes operation of vehicles, tools and equipment according to set safety procedures

Job Requirements
High school diploma, general education degree (GED);
two to five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have practical working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and possess adequate set of hand tools.
Operate all shop power tools, forklift, oxy. Acetylene torch, welding equipment, half ton and one ton overhead crane and service vehicles. Possess valid driver s license and have good driving record. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Commercial Drivers License
The physical demands described here are representatives of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
