Job Description

Wastewater Technician is a direct labor position within the Wastewater/Lab Team whose responsibilities are treatment of waste from processes, chemical analysis of tank compositions, filtration and changing chemical or solution in the chemical tanks and neutralizing solids from the chemical tanks and known practices.

Pay: $27.60-34.50/hr
Shift: M-F 10pm-6:30am

Key Responsibilities:
" Employee is responsible to treat waste from processes and chemical waste, chemical analysis of tank compositions, filtration and changing chemicals or solutions in the chemical tanks, neutralizing solids from the chemical tanks, maintaining the chemical tanks and the waste treatment area.
" Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP) as assigned to the team to assure your job duties are performed in a consistent, reliable and timely manner.
" Ability to multitask and communicate to management in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
" Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
" Any other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

Job Requirements

" Willing and able to work non-production hours as necessary.
" Basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills in order to process inventory, counting, time allocation, and work hours.
" Ability to read and comprehend internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, logs and general company records.
" Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
" Must be able to multi task and work under stress
" Basic computer skills.
" Steel toe boots
" Must complete 24hour Health and Safety Training for Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility Worker.
" Able to lift up to 50lbs and climb tank ladders
